As Kevin steps in on the blog, I suddenly felt this overwhelming need to get personal.
One of the coolest things about Kevin and I using the same platform to blog is that we can give out two perspectives on the same exact issues. Kevin and I basically live the same life. Only difference is that he is him and I am her. We have been together for almost 15 years; been living together for 13 years, married for almost 9 years, have had two start-up companies that we worked on in the same house together, while learning to be parents together and now we go to work together. I am physically with this man 24 hours a day; most days. I don’t think it is luck that contributes to our relationship success, it is the hard work and dedication to each other along with the willingness to do whatever it takes. Fortunately, we both have it. For this, I am utterly grateful.
In regards to perspectives, I thought I would throw in my two cents about Road Trips. See comments below Kevin’s Blog for Memorial Day Road Trip. By now, we should be experts on road travel with the kids. We have spent the last seven years making multiple trips to Lake Tahoe from San Jose, California (a four hour drive) with our children each year.
