Nolan Tired After a Day of Soccer
You ever see a great product out there and say to yourself “why didn’t I think of that?” I have done that a lot, still do actually. As you probably can guess, I have also created products based on those ideas at Go-Go Babyz. Sometimes I tell myself I should have just left it as an idea because running a manufacturing business can be pretty stressful. But I digress. The innovation and design is a collaboration of all the creative minds at Go-Go Babyz, I don’t take sole credit for any one product. Despite the headaches that come with running a business it is pretty neat to see a product being used by a stranger that all started in your head. Especially when it is making their life easier.
That is the basic concept of the creation of Go-Go Babyz; making life easier for busy parents. Our very first product that we designed was born from an idea when we were traveling with our 6 month old son for the first time. What a hassle it was getting through the airport with a car seat, diaper bag, a stroller and all the other baby gear, not to mention our own stuff. That product is the gogokidzTravelmate – the original car seat stroller.
Recently we introduced the Go-Go Babyz Wagon Stroller but we have been developing it for a few years now. Throughout the process of testing different prototypes we got plenty of “that’s a great idea” & “why didn’t I think of that.” See, most of the products we develop are based on products that we want to use with our own kids. As we are out and about with our kids we often think to ourselves “there has to be a better way” and the wheels of innovation start turning.
Our kids have been out of car seats and strollers for a while now but we have found ourselves in situations where we had too much gear and some tired kids that are just too big to be carried. We actually tried using a utility wagon at a beach resort and to haul all the beach gear to our spot and a kid who was tired of walking. Well, that just didn’t work so well. A little later Kerry was head coach for our daughter’s softball team and she had to lug a lot of gear to and every practice and every game and it was not a quick jaunt to the diamond. She used the utility cart but it just didn’t handle very well over the field and other terrain. Once again we thought “there has to be a better way.”
Back on that beach is where the Wagon Stroller idea started and a couple moths later when Kerry was coaching we decided that we really need to do this. We knew our kids didn’t necessarily need a stroller anymore but we thought that we would have loved to have a folding wagon that was designed with all the safety features of a standard single or double stroller. So three plus years in the making the Go-Go Babyz Wagon Stroller is out and available for all to enjoy. We use it ourselves with our kids even though they are older. We love to take it to the farmers market and throw all our stuff in it and if one of the kids gets tired of walking they can hop on in. We also use it for lugging all the soccer gear to the field and after the game if our super star goalie is tuckered out he can hop in too.
There is plenty more that we do with it but I’m tired of writing. I hope all of you enjoy it as much as we do. There is so much it can do and it really does make life easier when you are out and about with your kids and all their gear.

Customer service is such a large part of any business and a very important part for that matter. Customers keep us in business; without them we have nobody to sell our products or services to. And, of course, the customer is always right. Right? Well not so fast. I have dealt with a lot of customers over the years and let me say they have not always been right. As a matter of fact, sometimes they have been flat out wrong. That’s right. Wrong! Ask anybody in business and I am sure they will agree.
That being said, I would never tell the customer that. It’s all in how you approach and interact with the customer. In that sense, yes, the customer is always right and should be treated as such. Yes, there are those cases where the customer is flat out wrong but I never let them know that and just do what I need to do to resolve their issue and make sure they are satisfied. Often times the customer is simply acting on the information they have and it is my responsibility to make sure they have all the correct information. It can be as simple as a customer misunderstanding one line of text on our website; it might make perfect sense to me because I deal with these products every day and understand them inside and out, but to a new customer that one line might be interpreted completely opposite from what was intended.
To make matters more difficult, Go-Go Babyz makes baby gear & toddler gear for traveling. All of our products are designed to help busy parents who are on the go with their kids and all their gear whether heading around the corner to the grocery store or traveling across the world. Both kids and traveling can be stressful individually, put them together and things can get messy. With that combination I know we are going to have some interesting customer service calls. As a matter of fact, over the years we a have had quite few that came in from the airport. Want to talk about an upset and stressed out customer, put them in an airport with a car seat stroller that’s not working properly. Ugh! I completely understand because I have been in the same situation.
What it boils down to is customers want to be heard, validated and treated with respect. They have a problem and they want it fixed, that’s all. Remember the Golden Rule you were taught as kid? That’s what it’s all about; treat others as you want to be treated. I may be a business owner at Go-Go Babyz, but I am just another customer to all the other businesses out there and when I have an issue I want it handled properly and don’t want to be treated like an idiot. Trust me, I have been many times. It always amazes me how some businesses even exist with the level of customer service they provide.
Go-Go Babyz is a small family business and we are no different than our customers; busy parents on the go. We always keep that in mind when dealing with our customers and take great pride in our customer service. When we looked for products for our kids, whether it was a diaper bag, baby carrier, baby stroller, car seat or crib we wanted to know all we could about it and make sure it was safe, functional and met my needs before making a purchase. We also wanted great customer service after the sale if there was an issue or we just needed help with the product. Now I understand that no matter what we do we just can’t make everybody happy but I am proud to say that customer service is one our strongest assets and we strive to always get better and make sure our customers are happy . So, in the end the customer is always right.

We just introduced our Wagon Stroller a little over a month ago and I have been hearing the question “What makes your Wagon Stroller different from other kids wagons?” a lot. So, I decide to answer it in our blog.
Who doesn’t remember the little red wagon of from their past; the radio flyer wagon. I have some fond memories of my wagon, not to mention some painful ones resulting from some of the stunts my friends and I would try and pull off with it; Flying down hills steering with the handle, tying a rope to the handle to be towed by a friend on his bike or just holding the rope and “waterskiing” from behind a bike. It was all good fun despite any road rash or goose eggs on the head.
But I digress. After our own kids out grew the Travelmate and their baby strollers we noticed on vacations that there were still times that they didn’t want to walk because they were so tuckered out from the day’s activities. We always saw people using these little wagons, plastic ones, wooden wagons, folding wagons, utility wagons and even the radio flyer wagon to transport their kids around as if it were a stroller. Great idea right? Sure, except that these different wagons are NOT strollers and do not have all the safety features that a baby stroller has. So we thought, would if we designed a wagon stroller? One that was designed to meet the ASTM safety standards for strollers that could be used as a single stroller, a double stroller, or just a wagon cart to lug around your tuckered out older kids and all their gear? So we did. Behold the all new Go-Go Babyz Wagon Stroller.
So, what makes your Wagon Stroller different from other kids wagons you ask?
- As I mentioned above we designed it to meet the ASTM safety standards for strollers.
- Accommodates 1 or 2 cushioned seats with a 5-point safety harness (optional).
- It has a rear foot brake not found on any other wagon.
- It comes with a standard wagon pull handle as well as a rear push handle so it can be pushed like a stroller (extended, curved handle option available for added comfort. Standard on the single or double stroller models).
- Larger rear wheels for better stability and handling on a variety of terrain.
- Larger side-to-side AND front-to-back wheel base for better stability and to prevent tipping.
Inspired by the radio flyer wagon of our past and influenced by the style of the current utility wagons and folding wagons it is different than any other wagon on the market. It is truly a Wagon Stroller, whether you need a single stroller, double stroller, or just a wagon cart, our Wagon Stroller will meet your needs and provide the comfort and safety you want for your kids.
– Wagon On!
